Reviving Cinema from Los Angeles to Dublin

Back From The Dead Productions is a creatively driven, global production company based in Los Angeles and Dublin. We specialise in crafting groundbreaking movies and documentaries rooted in real events, stories that matter, stories that challenge, stories the world needs to hear.

Founded by Filmmaker Richie Smyth and Producer Kevin O'Meallain, Back From The Dead Productions was born from a singular conviction: the most powerful stories are the ones that actually happened. From the front lines of geopolitical conflict to the corridors of corporate power, we go where the truth takes us.

Our approach is simple: pair fearless investigative storytelling with world-class cinematic craft. No compromises on substance. No compromises on style.

Truth First

Every project begins with rigorous research and real-world immersion. We don't invent stories — we uncover them.

Cinematic Craft

True stories deserve blockbuster production value. We bring Hollywood craft to stories that Hollywood overlooks.

Global Reach

Our stories cross borders. From the Middle East to the halls of international finance, we produce content that resonates worldwide.
